My name is Eun-Ju Rüschenschmidt (she/her) and I’m a certified midwife (B.Sc.).
I support expecting families with a warm, positive, and evidence-based approach, and I’m committed to creating a space that feels safe, inclusive, and respectful for all.
I've been supporting birthing people for 4 years now, and have been working in both a large perinatal center in Berlin (St. Joseph Krankenhaus) with a NICU and in a smaller birth clinic (Klinikum am Urban) in Kreuzberg now.
I believe in guiding you to trust your body's wisdom, offering evidence-based knowledge while holding deep respect for your autonomy. My aim is to support you in making informed decisions with clarity and confidence, for a birth experience that feels empowering, tender, and truly your own. I see birth work as part of a broader movement for collective healing and liberation - working towards a world where childbirth, parenting, and care are free from violence and oppression, and built on dignity, trust and softness.
The weekend birth preparation course offers a calm and supportive space to prepare for birth and the time after. You’ll receive practical tools, clear information, and emotional support as you get ready to meet your baby. The course is designed to help you feel more confident, connected, and empowered, no matter what your path to parenthood looks like.
We’ll explore how birth works, how to trust your body, and how your partner or support person can play an active role. Alongside evidence-based knowledge, there is space for reflection, questions, and open exchange with other expecting families.

7 hours plus break on various weekends.

VERTRAG – DEUTSCH
Die Kursgebühren für tatsächlich erbrachte Stunden werden bei gesetzlich versicherten Schwangeren direkt mit der Krankenkasse abgerechnet. Privatversicherte Schwangere erhalten eine Privatrechnung. Die Rechnung muss unabhängig vom Erstattungsverhalten der Versicherung bezahlt werden.
Die Partnergebühr für den gesamten Kurs beträgt 160 €. Manche Krankenkassen erstatten einen Teil dieser Gebühr. Nach dem Kurs erhält der*die Partner*in eine Teilnahmebescheinigung und eine Rechnung. Mit Zahlung der Partnergebühr sind die Kursplätze verbindlich reserviert.
Partnergebühr:
– Stornierung bis 15 Tage vor Kursbeginn: volle Rückerstattung
– Ab 14 Tagen vor Kursbeginn: keine Rückerstattung
Schwangere (gesetzlich & privat versichert):
– Absage weniger als 7 Tage vor Kursbeginn ohne schwangerschaftsbezogenen medizinischen Grund: 150 € Ausfallgebühr
– No-Show (Nichterscheinen ohne Absage): 150 € Ausfallgebühr
– Schwangerschaftsbezogener medizinischer Grund mit ärztlichem Nachweis: keine Kosten
DATENSCHUTZ – DEUTSCH
Personenbezogene Daten werden ausschließlich zur Kursorganisation, Abrechnung und gesetzlich vorgeschriebenen Dokumentation verwendet. Dazu gehören Name, Kontaktdaten, Versicherungsinformationen, Kursanmeldung, Teilnahme und Rechnungsdaten. Eine Weitergabe erfolgt nur, wenn nötig, z. B. an Krankenkassen oder Behörden. Alle Daten werden nach DSGVO verarbeitet und mindestens 10 Jahre gespeichert.

– Teilnahme am gesamten Kurs empfohlen, da Inhalte aufeinander aufbauen
– Versäumte Kurszeiten können in der Regel nicht nachgeholt werden
CONTRACT – ENGLISH
Course fees for the pregnant participant are billed directly to public health insurance when eligible. Privately insured participants receive a private invoice, which must be paid in full regardless of reimbursement.
The partner fee for the full course is €160. Some insurance companies reimburse part of this amount. After the course, the partner receives a participation certificate and an invoice for possible reimbursement. Course places are confirmed once the partner fee has been paid.
Partner fee:
– Cancellation up to 15 days before the course: full refund
– From 14 days before the course: no refund
Pregnant participant (public & private):
– Cancellation less than 7 days before the course without medical pregnancy-related reason: €150 cancellation fee

Your personal data is used exclusively for course organisation, billing and legally required documentation. This includes name, contact details, insurance information, course registration, attendance, and invoice data. Data is shared only when necessary, e.g., with insurance providers or authorities. All data is processed according to GDPR and stored for at least 10 years.
